Our Story

Lights of Christmas was created when The Holm Remodeling Company was approached by a customer inquiring if we would be interested in installing their decorations. We took them up on their request and simply fell in love with the idea of bringing the light of Christmas to families in Kansas City. 17 years later we serve hundreds of families and businesses annually, and continue to grow thanks in part to our commitment to exceeding expectations and our dedication to Christmas values.
It is not uncommon to find us out spreading Christmas cheer until well after dark. Our phone lines are always open, and we will work hard for you. We work in the rain and snow, and have even been out in sub freezing weather until long after 10pm to serve customers who ordered with us late and needed the job completed so friends and family could enjoy the display the next day.
About Our Community Outreach
Although serving our clients is very important to us, what we are really “about” is spreading the Light of Christmas.
This year a portion of the proceeds from each home we decorate will be donated to Hillcrest Transitional Housing. It is a VERY successful organization which really helps homeless families transition quickly into self sufficiency by providing a home and active support and guidance.
