Will you install lights I already own?
Only in rare situations will we install personal lights and decorations. If you have decorations that are very special or unique we will be happy to install those decorations for you, but in most situations we prefer to use our own lights and decorations. We use commercial grade materials, which we are very familiar with, and can guarantee their quality and appearance.
Is my home too large or even too small for Lights of Christmas to decorate?
No. We often work on three story homes, and no job is too small; however, we do have a $300 job minimum. Just check out our gallery for the range of projects we enjoy completing each Christmas Season
How much is this going to cost?
Jobs range from $300 and beyond.. The most common first season decorating cost for a suburban home is around 550 dollars. The cost is based upon on a per foot charge that encompasses the challenges of the job.
What about the second year and beyond?
Typically there is a standard 20% discount applied to the total decorating cost for the second year; however, this can vary slightly from job to job, and if you take advantage of any of our early summer sales.
If LED light bulbs are selected the discount for the second year is closer to 40%.
If I didn’t do the back of my house or want to add on can that be done in the future?
Absolutely.
Will you install icicle lights?
Generally the answer is no, but we have and we will. The problem is we have not found icicle lights to be very dependable in typical installations. Most icicle lights are based on mini light strings, and very often one of those strings will stop working. The other main problem with icicle lights is the wind can and does blow them up onto the roof. We do not want your display to look anything but perfect, so we will be back to help you with these issues; however, we must include the cost of these extra trips into the overall job cost.
We can recommend some high quality LED icicle light products, which are incredibly reliable and look fantastic. Simply call for pricing.
My lights have stopped working. What should I do?
First, check to see if your timer is plugged in and turned on. Also, test the outlet with a lamp, vacuum cleaner or other device to check for power. If the GFI or breaker was tripped please let us know about it. It is possible the garage door or a freezer in the garage may be on the same circuit. We want to know about this so we can correct the issue and/or find another circuit to run the lights to.
My lights are plugged in, I don’t have any GFI’s or breakers tripped and my lights still will not come on. What should I do?

YES! Please call contact us through the website ASAP. We will be happy to stop by to replace a single bulb. How do you attach the lights to my house?
We use clips to attach the lights to gutters and shingles. We only staple lights to the house when absolutely necessary. This typically occurs when we install lights around windows and doors. No permanent fasteners are ever used without prior approval. We work very hard to make sure that once we remove the lights that there is little if any evidence that we were ever there.
